About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and optimize software modules in C++ and C# within a distributed systems environment running on Windows and Linux
Implement high-performance communication interfaces, such as those based on gRPC, using modern asynchronous programming models
Develop stable, high-performance applications using multithreading and concurrency concepts
Ensure code maintainability, quality, and extensibility through the targeted use of design patterns
Integrate relational databases and optimize data structures
Develop automated unit and integration tests
Actively contribute to an agile Scrum team
Conduct code reviews
Support the technical refinement and estimation of user stories

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable technical field, or equivalent vocational training
Solid experience in software development with C++ and C#
Knowledge of distributed systems, asynchronous programming, multithreading, and concurrency
Practical experience with gRPC or comparable technologies
Experience with relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL
Knowledge of design patterns
Proficiency with Git/GitLab and Jira
Experience working in agile development environments
Knowledge of mobile communications technologies is a plus
Fluent German skills
Good English skills
Team player with a proactive, solution-oriented approach, a strong desire to make an impact, and a constructive attitude toward challenges
