About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Recruit patients for multiple clinical studies by contacting referrals from marketing and outreach efforts
- Identify potentially eligible patients from the internal database for new trials
- Help identify studies patients may qualify for and schedule initial visits at facility locations
- Maintain an updated tracker of scheduled patients and visit outcomes
- Follow up with patients as necessary
- Build and develop the site’s patient database through new recruitment methods
- Contact new potential patients and maintain contact with database patients
- Understand assigned studies by reading protocols and resource materials and attending trainings
- Perform other tasks as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Ability to travel to The Villages, FL is a must
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to complete training and follow study protocol
- Flexibility and ability to prioritize and multi-task throughout the day
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to interact with a diverse patient population
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- Minimum associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Background in psychology, health sciences, or a related field preferred, or relevant experience in patient recruitment or clinical research environments
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service-related position, preferably in a medical or health provider environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience
