About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and execute regional and local marketing strategies for assigned KOA campground portfolios
  • Act as a marketing consultant for franchise owners using market data and trends
  • Manage paid media, social media, SEO, email, and traditional marketing channels
  • Develop partnerships with local businesses, tourism organizations, and community groups
  • Support campground-level promotions, events, and loyalty programs
  • Analyze performance metrics and optimize campaigns
  • Provide marketing strategy recommendations to franchisees and investigate relevant issues and opportunities
  • Plan and direct franchisee meetings with clear objectives and goals
  • Monitor and manage marketing budgets
  • Collaborate with National Marketing, Revenue Management, Business Intelligence, and Field Operations teams
  • Monitor demand generators, business trends, and competitor strategies
  • Analyze strategies and share key insights and best practices across the field marketing system
  • Support field marketing training and education through written communication, webinars, and KOA event sessions
  • Complete yearly Best Park in Market analyses, Annual Business Reviews, and Commercial Strategy Roadmaps
  • Support cohesive revenue strategies for campgrounds using Revenue Managed Services
  • Support case studies on Marketing Managed Services and revenue optimization

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Hospitality, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in field marketing, hospitality marketing, or a related role
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, and local advertising strategies
  • Proficiency in data analysis and ability to translate insights into actionable strategies
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to travel, with possible travel to Canada
  • Driver’s license required
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboard
  • Ability to lift and carry a laptop and other small items up to 20 pounds
  • CHDM Certification, or willingness to seek certification upon employment (preferred)
  • Experience working with franchisees or multi-location businesses (preferred)
