About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Profitably grow the business by managing and delivering high-quality brand strategy and consulting solutions
  • Build trusted and strategic relationships with existing and new clients
  • Manage consulting projects involving brand strategy, market structures, consumer and demand segmentations, brand valuations, brand portfolio strategy, brand architecture, brand purpose, organizational performance, innovation, and commerce strategy
  • Design custom approaches to address client questions and understand client context and challenges
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients
  • Develop project workplans and oversee day-to-day project activities
  • Lead development of consulting deliverables, including questionnaires, sample designs, analytic plans, and reports
  • Oversee project teams and ensure outputs are meaningful and actionable
  • Conduct data analysis and synthesize data from multiple sources
  • Identify compelling insights and translate research learnings into recommendations and next steps
  • Package clear, relevant, and impactful deliverables and presentations
  • Keep project leadership informed of progress and solicit input
  • Lead client conversations, facilitate decision-making, and translate decisions into team next steps
  • Lead client presentations and facilitate client workshops
  • Identify and solve project issues
  • Optimize delivery efficiency while maintaining quality and accuracy
  • Build successful project teams and mentor junior team members
  • Manage staff utilization and project finances
  • Maintain understanding of Kantar data sources, tools, practice areas, and developments
  • Support senior leadership with client opportunities, proposals, and winning work
  • Design proposals and pitch solutions for client marketing problems
  • Provide feedback across the team and improve processes, including through AI
  • Build skills through training and questions
  • Build relationships with consulting colleagues and participate in team activities and training

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of professional experience in a similar capacity
  • Management consulting, brand strategy consulting, or custom market research experience preferred
  • Exposure to quantitative methodologies
  • Bachelor’s degree; preferred major or concentration in marketing, market research, social science, mathematics, or other analytic fields
  • Proven experience performing custom research, analytics, or consulting for multiple strategic research or consulting projects
  • Experience presenting insights and recommendations to clients
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Logical reasoning and problem-solving ability
  • Experience managing complexity and challenging situations
  • Proactive mindset and ability to work independently and within a team
  • Strong project and time management experience
  • Ability to deliver against multiple or competing deadlines
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office tools
  • Ability to master SPSS, Survey Reporter, data management/cross-tab tools, and other proprietary business tools
  • Experience with AI tools and openness to incorporating AI into work processes
  • Strong business acumen and brand savvy
  • Interest in mentoring junior team members
  • Command of marketing research methods, tools, and science
  • Ability to provide technical and analytical leadership
  • Interest and intellectual curiosity in learning Kantar solutions
