About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Teach live online prep courses for the Civil SE licensing exam
- Demonstrate excellent teaching skills and engage students while mentoring and driving student success
- Serve as an industry and exam expert in areas of study
- Host classes according to the established schedule and curriculum, ensuring technical accuracy
- Prepare for course sessions and submit errors, revisions, or improvements to course slides or materials at least once per week throughout the program
- Meet live webinar technical requirements, including early login, recording controls, software/hardware/internet requirements, and delivery from a quiet environment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- Licensed SE through NCEES (*Required! Civil PE not eligible)
- Ability to effectively utilize online classroom technology
- Prior teaching or mentoring experience (preferred)
- Previous employment in the Engineering industry with detailed knowledge of licensing exam content and preparation (preferred)
- Microsoft Office Suite knowledge (preferred)
- Dynamic speaking ability (preferred)
- Attention to detail; Urgency (preferred)
