About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Plan and coordinate installation of tolling system equipment
- Ensure quality execution and on-time completion of onsite activities
- Lead and oversee Field Services Supervisors, Field Service Technicians, subcontractors, and internal installation teams
- Coordinate resources and schedules throughout the project lifecycle with Project Managers and stakeholders
- Serve as the primary customer interface for installation-related activities
- Develop installation strategies, project installation plans, schedules, resource plans, readiness reviews, and subcontractor scopes of work
- Conduct site visits, subcontractor walkthroughs, site acceptance reviews, and installation readiness assessments
- Review and interpret electrical and civil drawings, schematics, and design packages
- Facilitate page-turn reviews with internal and external teams
- Manage project inventory, installation documentation, field change tracking, configuration records, checklists, and daily installation updates through JIRA
- Ensure compliance with Kapsch and customer safety standards
- Support system integration, functionality, troubleshooting, and repair of tolling system components
- Utilize Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Outlook, Project, and Word
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years installation supervisory experience in managing multiple teams
- Construction scheduling experience
- High School diploma and/or additional trade or technical school training
- Relevant experience may include RF or Electrical training
- Hands-on experience utilizing multi-meters, fiber optic systems, and hand tools
- Experience with RF or microwave is a plus
- Ability to work a flexible full-time schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Availability to travel approximately 75% of the time, based on project needs
- Flexibility to work weekends, night shifts, and extended hours when required
- Prior tolling experience is preferred
- Working rights in the United States
- Ability to pass a background check
