About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop leads and sell new AutoStore projects
  • Maintain and qualify a robust sales funnel in cooperation with marketing and business development
  • Manage leads from Kardex Group clients, AutoStore and partner referrals, tradeshows, business development, and personal logistics/supply chain networks
  • Represent the client internally and the internal team with clients
  • Track all client interactions in Salesforce
  • Negotiate with clients to ensure project success
  • Close sales deals
  • Assist in developing standard solutions, sales tools, and processes
  • Monitor industry trends and market potential
  • Qualify newly generated client leads and prioritize opportunities
  • Develop relationships with client decision makers
  • Visit client sites to build relationships and understand their business
  • Lead AutoStore sales from lead handover through contract
  • Assess client operations to identify business opportunities and business cases
  • Create optimal solutions delivering client benefit and return on investment
  • Support projects during the realization phase
  • Lead internal budget costing and fixed-price proposal processes
  • Support development of standard solutions such as GTP robot picking
  • Improve presentation, offer-document, and sales-process templates
  • Support colleagues at other global locations as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or similar field preferred; candidates with other degrees or no degree will be evaluated according to previous industry experience
  • 5+ years’ experience with sales and consulting and/or design engineering in the intralogistics industry
  • Proven portfolio of sold projects within the intralogistics industry
  • Experience with sales, consulting, project and team management
  • Strong dedication to the sales, negotiation, and closing processes
  • Experience using Salesforce and tracking client interactions
  • Willingness to travel to client sites
  • Ability to work in a startup environment and handle a wide range of tasks at different locations
