About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the program management function within Kaseya's Global Events organization
  • Translate global event strategy into an integrated annual and multi-year portfolio plan
  • Own the global events calendar, balancing business priorities, regional needs, budget, and team capacity
  • Lead event intake, business case review, prioritization, and portfolio planning reviews
  • Build and lead the Events Program Management team
  • Define frameworks, phase gates, decision rights, playbooks, templates, timelines, RACI models, and run-of-show standards
  • Establish status reporting, risk reviews, executive checkpoints, post-event retrospectives, and process optimization
  • Lead complex multi-workstream programs including flagship conferences and global sales kickoffs
  • Align Marketing, Sales, Product Marketing, Product, Finance, Legal, and regional teams on scope, timelines, and success criteria
  • Manage dependencies, critical paths, scope changes, and issue resolution across concurrent programs
  • Provide recommendations and tradeoffs to executive stakeholders
  • Own consolidated financial management, multimillion-dollar budgets, multi-currency forecasting, and variance reporting
  • Lead resource and capacity planning across employees, agencies, and freelance partners
  • Drive global sourcing strategy and negotiate with venues, agencies, production partners, and suppliers
  • Establish vendor performance standards, service levels, and scorecards
  • Own the events technology and tooling roadmap, including project management, registration, event platforms, CRM, and marketing automation integration
  • Define and track portfolio KPIs including budget adherence, attendee satisfaction, pipeline contribution, revenue influence, and event ROI
  • Deliver executive dashboards and portfolio reporting with actionable recommendations
  • Use data and insights to improve planning accuracy, operational efficiency, and business outcomes
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing global team of event program managers
  • Define roles, career paths, competency standards, coaching, mentorship, succession planning, and professional development

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years of experience in event program management, event operations, or a related program management role, including 5+ years leading teams
  • Proven success managing a global portfolio of large-scale conferences, customer and partner events, executive programs, sales kickoffs, and trade shows across multiple regions
  • Demonstrated experience building or leading a PMO, or establishing program governance, standardized processes, and scalable operating models
  • Experience owning multimillion-dollar budgets, multi-currency forecasting, contract negotiations, and vendor partnerships
  • Experience within technology, cybersecurity, IT services, or high-growth organizations
  • Advanced proficiency with project and portfolio management tools such as Smartsheet, Asana, Monday.com, and Jira; event management platforms such as Cvent; CRM and marketing automation systems such as Salesforce, Marketo, and HubSpot
  • Strong knowledge of international event logistics, risk management, and compliance requirements
  • Exceptional program management skills, including planning, prioritization, dependency management, and risk mitigation across concurrent programs
  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, often without direct authority
  • Experience leading distributed teams in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related field is preferred
