About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support day-to-day management, coordination, and performance of Transient Aircraft Services operations at an assigned installation within the Southwest Asia Area of Responsibility
  • Ensure aircraft servicing operations comply with the Performance Work Statement, contractual requirements, Technical Orders, airfield safety standards, and U.S. Government/U.S. Air Force directives
  • Lead flight line operations including aircraft arrival, marshaling, parking, servicing, turn-around, and departure activities
  • Assist in supervising assigned personnel supporting TAS operations
  • Serve as the designated authority and acting Site Manager in the Site Manager’s absence
  • Enforce flight line safety standards, FOD prevention programs, and tool control procedures
  • Oversee Environmental, Safety, and Quality Assurance compliance, documentation, reporting, and enforcement
  • Coordinate daily tasking and priorities; assign work, monitor execution, and resolve operational challenges
  • Schedule personnel to maintain 24/7/365 service levels, including surge and contingency operations
  • Inspect and audit work for compliance and implement corrective actions
  • Monitor performance trends, identify operational risks, and support mission readiness
  • Coordinate with Government stakeholders including COR, ACO, Airfield Management, MOC, and other mission partners
  • Maintain operational documentation, records, staffing updates, performance metrics, and deliverables
  • Maintain accountability of equipment, vehicles, and tools
  • Support personnel training, qualification, certification, and readiness
  • Assist with transition, mobilization, and demobilization activities
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by the Site Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • U.S. National (USN)
  • Active Secret Security Clearance
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in aviation operations, aircraft maintenance, or Transient Aircraft Services
  • Demonstrated experience in flight line operations and aircraft servicing
  • Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft ground handling and servicing procedures
  • Strong knowledge of airfield safety requirements and flight line operations
  • Strong knowledge of applicable Technical Orders and maintenance practices
  • Preferred: prior experience managing TAS operations at Prince Sultan Air Base, Al Udeid Air Base, Al Dhafra Air Base, Ali Al Salem Air Base, or Muwaffaq Salti Air Base
  • Preferred: prior experience supporting U.S. Air Force TAS operations
