About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead project cost management activities, including budgets, commitments, expenditures, forecasting, and cost performance reporting
- Monitor project performance against approved budgets, identifying trends, variances, risks, and opportunities
- Develop and maintain estimate-at-completion (EAC), cash flow, and funding forecasts
- Support change management activities by evaluating cost impacts and maintaining budget alignment
- Provide cost analysis, forecasting insights, and performance reporting to client and PMC leadership
- Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure accurate cost collection, reporting, and forecasting
- Lead and develop the cost control team while promoting cost management best practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Business, Project Management, or a related discipline
- Minimum 15 years of cost control, cost management, forecasting, or project controls experience supporting major capital projects
- Demonstrated experience managing project budgets, commitments, expenditures, forecasting, and cost reporting
- Strong understanding of cost management, forecasting methodologies, project accounting interfaces, and performance analysis
- Experience supporting large industrial, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, life sciences, energy, or infrastructure projects
