About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and manage a portfolio of Corporate Banking clients, focusing on acquiring, retaining, and expanding deposit relationships
  • Identify client needs and develop deposit and banking solutions
  • Develop new client relationships through business development, networking, industry and community activities, and relationship-building opportunities
  • Identify cross-sell and referral opportunities, including potential commercial lending opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal business partners to connect clients with appropriate Bank products and services
  • Provide financial guidance based on clients’ business needs
  • Maintain strong client relationships through ongoing communication and service
  • Monitor deposit activity and client relationships to identify changes, risks, and growth opportunities
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends, competitive activity, deposit products, and regulatory requirements
  • Provide relevant insights to clients and management
  • Contribute market and competitive insights to Corporate Banking deposit growth initiatives
  • Perform routine office activities including typing, reading, computer work, filing, copying, and telephone use
  • Travel frequently to client sites, Bank locations, and industry/community events

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field preferred
  • Minimum 6 years of sales or relationship management experience in financial services required
  • Experience generating deposit relationships with small to mid-sized businesses preferred
  • Experience with deposit pricing and liquidity management preferred
  • Working knowledge of treasury management solutions preferred
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain effective internal and external relationships
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Employee must reside in the Northeast/MidAtlantic territory: NJ, NY, PA, DE, CT
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not provided
