About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead onboarding and mentor new Inside Sales Executives to achieve new business quota
- Manage assigned agents to achieve monthly new business quota
- Obtain agency commitment aligned with new business quota
- Execute 20–50 outbound calls per day
- Liaise between agencies and company personnel to identify and resolve issues affecting profitable growth and company and agency perception
- Work with the field Regional Sales Manager to achieve team goals and agent growth
- Support Sales Executives with weekly or monthly performance reports, team meetings, and call reports
- Update the CRM database and submit qualified new agency appointments with required documentation
- Submit monthly territory reports, competitor worksheets, and agency termination documentation
- Train agents on underwriting guidelines, procedures, programs, website, and web rater
- Educate agencies on appropriate points of contact for questions
- Match agencies to offered products
- Travel occasionally to visit agents, approximately once per year
- Attend sales, education, industry, and agent events, including trade shows and conventions
- Learn and execute company sales processes and remain accountable to performance objectives
Requirements
What you’ll need- College degree preferred
- 5+ years of Inside Sales experience
- 2 years of Industry experience
- Effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills
- Flexible nature and highly motivated self-starter
- Basic computer skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Time management skills
- Logical problem-solving ability
- Comfort interpreting statistical data from company reports
