About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Select an order based on priorities provided by the area lead or supervisor
- Measure raw materials before processing and hold parts to quality specifications while performing in-process audits during cycle runs
- Follow established procedures for running and checking grind lines to ensure all systems operate correctly
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot moderate to complex problems on centerless grinders, infeed robot cell, and chamfer robot cell
- Read and understand blueprints and resolve issues related to quality specifications
- Separate, identify, and report nonconforming product from good product
- Document accurately on provided paperwork and in the MII reporting system
- Perform daily housekeeping and routine machine maintenance using the CLI checklist
- Train new operators when required
- Perform other duties as assigned by the area lead or supervisor
