About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Draft and edit press releases, blog posts, infographics, award submissions, executive materials, newsletter content, and other external communications
- Support media relations, including briefing materials, media inquiries, interview logistics, and stakeholder and agency follow-up
- Coordinate communications assets and supporting materials with internal teams and external creative resources
- Support the awards program by researching opportunities, gathering inputs, coordinating approvals, and supporting submissions
- Manage the corporate blog editorial calendar and publishing workflow
- Manage the Source newsletter editorial calendar, content, contributions, reviews, approvals, and publication
- Support global social media strategies to increase brand awareness, audience growth, engagement, and share of voice
- Manage social content planning, publishing, channel activity, and community engagement
- Develop social content covering company news, product launches, market developments, executive perspectives, and technical topics
- Research social, industry, and cultural trends
- Manage social publishing, employee advocacy, video distribution, and performance reporting using Oktopost, Wistia, YouTube, and related platforms
- Develop social content for executives and subject matter experts
- Monitor social media performance, audience engagement, and content trends and recommend optimization opportunities
- Support and scale employee advocacy initiatives
- Develop social toolkits, suggested messaging, and supporting assets
- Partner with Brand, Communications, Field and Events, Product Marketing, Demand Generation, and Creative teams
- Support social amplification for announcements, research, events, webinars, product launches, and other brand moments
- Maintain brand and messaging consistency across communications and advocacy programs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, English, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience managing social media programs for B2B technology, cybersecurity, SaaS, or another complex industry
- Strong writing and editing skills across corporate communications, social media, blogs, newsletters, and executive materials
- Strong understanding of major social media platforms and evolving social trends, audience behaviors, and content formats
- Experience managing editorial calendars, content workflows, approvals, and multiple concurrent projects
- Strong research skills and curiosity about cybersecurity, technology, media, and the broader business landscape
- Ability to translate complex or technical information into clear, accessible content for different audiences and channels
- Strong organizational and project management skills with careful attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders, executives, subject matter experts, creative teams, and external agency partners
- Ability to interpret basic communications and social media performance data and use insights to recommend improvements
