About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, build, automate, and operate secure and scalable infrastructure across AWS and Azure
- Design and maintain reusable Terraform modules for AWS and Azure with remote state
- Manage AWS Route 53 public and private hosted zones
- Deploy, configure, and operate Azure App Services, including plans, deployment slots, scaling rules, custom domains, and TLS certificates
- Build and maintain GitHub Actions workflows for infrastructure and application deployment
- Implement secure authentication from GitHub Actions to AWS
- Automate operational tasks using Bash, Python, AWS CLI/SDK, or Azure CLI/PowerShell
- Design and implement AWS Backup plans, vaults, retention policies, and cross-region/cross-account copies
- Configure CloudWatch metrics, logs, dashboards, and alarms using Lambda functions
- Own Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, and the reliability, security, and recoverability of the cloud estate
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6+ years in cloud/DevOps/infrastructure engineering
- 4+ years of hands-on AWS experience
- 2+ years of Azure experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform, including modules, state management, providers, and workspaces, on AWS and Azure
- Proficiency in AWS CloudFormation using YAML/JSON, nested stacks, StackSets, and change sets
- Experience building GitHub Actions pipelines, including reusable workflows, secrets, environments, and OIDC
- Deep understanding of EC2, Security Groups, IAM, S3, CloudWatch, and AWS Backup
- Hands-on experience with AWS Route 53, including hosted zones, routing policies, health checks, and failover
- Hands-on experience with Azure App Services and Azure Load Balancer
- Good grasp of networking fundamentals, including VPC/VNet, routing, DNS, and load balancing
- Scripting skills in Bash and/or Python
- Keyloop doesn’t require academic qualifications; selection is based on experience and potential
- Preferred: experience with AWS Organizations, Control Tower, Azure Management Groups, containers, Docker, FinOps, Systems Manager, AWS Config, GuardDuty, Security Hub, and CloudTrail
