About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Fully own assigned custom development initiatives, aligning designs with Solutions Architects’ proposals, client expectations, timelines, and documentation requirements.
- Accelerate enterprise sales cycles through rapid technical prototyping and proof-of-concept solutions.
- Analyze architectures, audit configurations, schemas, and API payloads before go-live to mitigate risks and certify solutions.
- Work in Agile/Scrum sprints and track time and deliverables in Jira for billable SOW accounting and capacity planning.
- Configure Helpshift native features, including AI capabilities, automation bots, and core messaging flows.
- Manage simultaneous technical implementation projects from kick-off through go-live and handoff to Customer Success.
- Guide client engineering and product teams integrating the Helpshift SDK into iOS, Android, Unity, and Web applications.
- Configure bot automation, issue assignment rules, smart routing, custom forms, and FAQ knowledge bases.
- Set up integrations with client tool stacks and map customer data payloads.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues during setup, testing, and go-live, coordinating with Product and Engineering teams.
- Capture field insights and feature gaps from enterprise implementations to inform product roadmap prioritization.
- Showcase Helpshift API capabilities through live demonstrations, recorded videos, and presentations.
- Translate client business requirements into viable product solutions with the wider client-facing team.
- Create datasets and reports using Power BI, Tableau, Looker, and Sigma.
- Mentor and train junior engineers.
- Support deployment and maintenance of client-facing custom solution components on modern cloud infrastructure.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 5 years’ SaaS implementation specialist experience, building custom solutions for Enterprise clients.
- Experience of leading teams through complex project implementations.
- Strong ability to read, comprehend, and debug code in languages such as Python and JavaScript/Node.js to inspect client implementations and troubleshoot integration logic.
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, SDKs, containerization (e.g., Docker), and basic Infrastructure-as-Code concepts (e.g., Terraform) for supporting custom deployments.
- Hands-on experience with low-code/no-code automation platforms like n8n, Power Automate, Azure Logic Apps, or Zapier to build efficient integration workflows.
- Exceptional organizational skills and efficiency in task management.
- Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with stakeholders across multiple disciplines.
