About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Liaise with clients concerning receiving, scheduling, approving, updating, and supporting DVW projects
Schedule and coordinate projects and staff, including writers, narrators, and mixers
Receive and quality-check client materials and distribute them to writers and mixers
Deliver final materials to clients using upload, download, and preview services
Assist the Client Services Manager with project organization, scheduling, monitoring, and progress reporting
Respond to client technical and scheduling questions
Supply narrator samples and draft scripts for client approval
Manage back-end systems for client-specific applications
Manage Live Audio Description Events from inquiry through delivery
Source remote equipment and collaborate with clients on venue setup and technical limitations
Maintain daily schedules and send billings to accounting; respond to billing questions
Transcode projects and distribute updated or revised proxies
Coordinate reports and paperwork through the production chain
Assist with project quality-control guidelines and maintain applicable QC reports
Resolve challenging project issues, including QC research, proxy reissues, follow-up, and coordination
Coordinate captioning and subtitling
Support quoting processes
Enter data into the Project Management System and run reports to identify business gaps and make recommendations
Manage the Change Order process
Archive completed projects on the central server and maintain archive records
Implement, maintain, or assist with data backups
Attend weekly meetings to report progress, discuss challenges, and contribute to strategy

Requirements

What you’ll need

Project management experience required
Experience or knowledge of audio description is a bonus
Live event production is a bonus
Fully remote and work from home
Occasional travel to onsite venues for live events
Ability to work flexible hours occasionally, including evenings or weekends when necessary
Willingness to provide technical support for writers and send AD or DV to clients outside standard hours when necessary
