About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers needing technical assistance
  • Resolve or triage help desk issues received through the ticketing system or call-in line
  • Perform troubleshooting using diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
  • Determine solutions and conduct root cause analysis
  • Provide technical support for PCs, phones, printers, and mobile devices
  • Provision users for onboarding, offboarding, and modifications
  • Set up, relocate, and deploy computers for new and existing workstations
  • Decommission end-of-life endpoints
  • Coordinate with vendors on software and hardware issues
  • Install software through push deployment or manual installation
  • Assign M365 and Adobe software licenses
  • Maintain IT asset tracking documentation
  • Contribute to the IT knowledgebase
  • Assist with end-user training for IT security awareness
  • Review email submissions for phishing or legitimate messages
  • Assist with special projects
  • Follow safety requirements and maintain a safe, neat, orderly work environment
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
  • Work extended hours, weekends, and an on-call rotation as scheduled

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in computer science OR 1+ years of experience in an IT field
  • Good technical skills using computer applications, Microsoft Suite, and enterprise software
  • Customer service skills; comfortable working with business users and technical teams
  • Good time management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and contribute to estimating timelines
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail oriented with ability to continuously learn
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to exercise patience and understanding
