About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute the joint business plan for Kimberly-Clark’s Meijer business
- Collaborate with category, finance, shopper marketing, digital, and other K-C capabilities alongside Meijer’s buyer and leadership team
- Maintain customer relationships and implement K-C brand strategies and tactics
- Ensure corporate, sales, trade, marketing, and business objectives are met, including contribution, trade management, volume, and growth profit objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams using a one-voice mindset to develop and execute an omni-channel joint business plan
- Drive distribution, pricing, shelving, and merchandising programs supporting category and K-C growth strategies
- Develop and deliver insights and plans to execute national plans and deliver share growth
- Track key objectives through business performance analysis and develop corrective actions to close gaps
- Identify opportunities to streamline and simplify work around high-value activities
- Pursue strategic priorities including line reviews, joint business plans, and innovation summits
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree
- 4+ years of progressive exempt status experience in sales, business, customer management, and customer development
- Proficient in customer, category and trade management
- CPG industry experience and K-C customer/retailer account/s experience preferred
- Experience working with Meijer as a customer preferred
- Proven record of exceeding sales objectives preferred
- Knowledge of forecasting, supply and demand, and shelf reset experience preferred
- Solid skills in Excel & PowerPoint preferred
- Experience in sales, relationship building, oral, verbal and written communication, business management and planning, statistics and quantitative business analysis, change management, and team management preferred
- Mentoring, networking, resource management, prioritization and time management, cross-functional relationships, customer service problem solving, adaptability, and process improvement preferred
- Employment subject to verification of local policies and pre-screening tests, which may include drug screening, background check, and DMV check
