About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop data-driven decision-making insights for Enterprise Supply Chain end-to-end operations, focusing on process mining and analytics
  • Direct data scientists and supply chain consultants in day-to-day functional activities
  • Engage with ESC Operating Office leadership, Customer Service, Logistics, Transportation, Global Supply Chain, and DTS
  • Create and maintain data architecture for process mining
  • Develop KPI metrics, automation, and analyses for sustained problem-solving
  • Partner with a DTS product team and Global Supply Chain Process Mining COE to set product vision and strategies
  • Represent the customer voice, measure product value, and ensure business-case benefits are realized
  • Lead stakeholders in understanding data and analytical needs for initiatives and functional strategy development
  • Develop and improve network analysis processes, cycle-time models, and recommendations
  • Manage analysis requests, assumptions, data analysis, trade-off comparisons, and customer communications
  • Drive implementation of technology improving network-analysis agility, speed, and accuracy
  • Oversee and proactively communicate business opportunities
  • Lead strategic, cross-functional Supply Chain improvement opportunities
  • Oversee team initiatives and roadmaps
  • Lead and manage team members reporting to the role
  • Hire, coach, provide feedback, and develop team members
  • Lead and coach the team in data and analytic techniques
  • Oversee change-management procedures for process improvements and team processes and tools
  • Drive organizational use of data and analytics in decision-making
  • Collaborate with DTS Product Team on feature vision, business outcomes, KPIs, product progress, and value communication

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or related technical field
  • 8+ years of business experience with 5+ years of cross-functional Supply Chain experience
  • 5+ years of working experience in data science, analytics and/or data modeling
  • Advanced analytics, data visualization, and reporting dashboard design and development experience
  • Knowledge of or willingness to learn new analytical and automation tools
  • Demonstrated leadership in executing innovative solutions through process and technology
  • Working knowledge of Kimberly-Clark’s supply chain interactions preferred
  • Strong technical/analytic skills and experience with multiple platforms including SAP R/3, Business Warehouse reporting, SAP S4, Power BI, Power Query, and Celonis EMS preferred
  • Experience with statistical modeling, advanced coding skills in R and Python, and Excel functionality preferred
  • Working knowledge of machine learning techniques preferred
  • Advanced experience with relational database structure, data architecture design, SQL, SAP HANA/VDMs, and Snowflake preferred
  • Strategic problem-solving, innovative/analytical thinking, and ability to simplify complex concepts preferred
  • Strong project management knowledge preferred
  • Outstanding organizational, communication, stakeholder management, relationship-building, and collaboration skills preferred
  • Experience working with cross-functional Agile teams and product development preferred; Agile certification such as CSPO or PSPO preferred
  • MBA or MS in Engineering, Data Science, Analytics or technology preferred
  • Must be a local candidate already authorized to work in the role’s country
