About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Establish a clear understanding of client goals and objectives through data analysis and communication
- Develop proforma modeling and investment analysis
- Perform ad hoc projects, reporting, and modeling
- Identify risks and opportunities and communicate with business partners internally and externally
- Work through ambiguity by asking questions, thinking creatively, and being innovative
- Identify and present options to achieve financial goals
- Communicate financial terms, deal structures, underlying causes of variances, and modeling assumptions to collaborators
- Assess feedback and resolve concerns
- Build partnerships with executives and cross-functional business partners to support new business growth
- Build financial models aligned with company objectives and prospective client needs
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to prepare the consolidated company budget and forecast
- Provide qualitative and quantitative analysis of results and forecasted trends
- Assist leadership in meeting financial targets by solving problems and developing operational strategies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field or MBA
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Ability to understand sophisticated financial models and present financial terms, model assumptions, and drivers to external clients
- Highly skilled in MS Excel
- Intermediate skills in MS Word and PowerPoint
- Strong understanding of financial reporting software; MS Power BI, Anaplan, Hyperion Enterprise, and reporting software are a plus
- Detail-oriented with high attention to quality and accuracy
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience presenting to groups and conducting trainings
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to interact with various levels of management and develop strong working relationships
