About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze drawings, sketches, design data, and processing information to determine cutter paths, cutting tools, machine speeds, and feed rates
  • Create, maintain, manage, and improve CNC programs and tooling setup sheets
  • Identify and participate in process and tooling improvements to reduce changeover times, improve quality, address safety issues, and increase productivity
  • Write tool sheet instructions containing tool lists, fixturing, and setup information
  • Use CAD and CAM software, Syteline, and MS Office for daily tasks
  • Work with Tooling personnel to procure tooling
  • Work with CNC Machinists to correct errors and optimize machine performance
  • Work with process engineering and fixture design for proper processing and fixturing
  • Comply with safety requirements and act as a safety ambassador
  • Attend required trainings and meetings
  • Oversee and maintain quality according to Kingsbury Quality Assurance standards
  • Complete special projects, continuous improvement initiatives, and other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 3+ years of relevant programming experience
  • Ability to read and interpret G and M code
  • Blueprint reading and GD&T training completion preferred
  • Ability to utilize CAD and CAM software, Syteline, and MS Office products
  • Must comply with all safety requirements
  • Must attend company-required trainings and meetings
