About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build, drive and execute the Northern Ireland commercial strategy to deliver volume, revenue and margin growth
  • Lead and develop a high-performing commercial team through guidance, coaching and support
  • Develop and execute brand promotion plans for Northern Ireland customers for Golden Cow and Coleraine
  • Collaborate with Brand Marketing to maximise consumer visibility within budget
  • Lead development and execution of customer plans; grow existing customer relationships and identify new customers
  • Develop and execute the Northern Ireland go-to-market strategy
  • Contribute to Island of Ireland business performance and strategy as a member of the IOI Leadership Team
  • Analyse market trends, competitive landscape and consumer behaviour to identify growth opportunities
  • Drive revenue and margin growth through negotiation, pricing and promotional strategies
  • Monitor sales performance, dairy commodity markets and corrective actions
  • Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, finance and other internal teams
  • Support product development, marketing campaigns and inventory planning
  • Own Northern Ireland P&L, DCF budget delivery, and business risks and opportunities tracker
  • Prepare performance reports and presentations for senior leadership
  • Maximise Kinisla profile in the Northern Ireland market with the IOI Commercial Director

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • In depth FMCG and relevant leadership experience
  • Minimum GCSE standard (or equivalent); degree-level qualification or relevant professional qualification ideally
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, planning and organising, influencing, and written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Passionate and determined
  • Growth mindset and entrepreneurial spirit
  • IT literate, including MS Office, particularly PowerPoint, Excel and Word
