About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide support and assistance to the Site Finance Controller and Operations team while meeting reporting requirements within deadlines
- Prepare for monthly operations review calls on financial performance against the prior year
- Present the monthly operations review deck to various stakeholders
- Perform month-end closing, including posting journals and preparing reconciliations
- Track savings and partner with the site on costings and new initiatives
- Support the Finance Analyst on yield reviews
- Ensure the Material Ledger is closed accurately, completely, and within regional timelines
- Manage product and process costing, ensuring yields, labour, and direct overhead standards reflect the true cost of manufacture
- Work with cross-functional teams to resolve costing differences
- Support budgeting and forecasting for SKU prime costs, overheads, factory yields, and labour
- Support year-end audits and statutory accounts
- Collaborate with site teams on capital forecasts and budgets
- Complete ad hoc analysis and reporting as required
- Work closely with the Site Controller and operations team to drive financial performance and improve manufacturing efficiencies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience working within a Manufacturing environment
- SAP experience is an advantage
- Experience of preparing and providing commentary analysis on management accounts
- Competent in all Microsoft packages, especially Excel
- Great team player
- Ability to work with a number of different teams within the organisation
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and to deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
