About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support management and daily operations of Kinwell's Spokane Valley and 6th and Washington (Spokane) clinics.
  • Manage clinic support staff and foster team building, integrity, safety, continuous improvement, and recognition.
  • Collaborate with clinician partners to meet patient throughput, outcomes, satisfaction, safety, and efficiency metrics.
  • Oversee daily clinical operations, service delivery, workflows, efficiency, and safe, timely patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including HIPAA, OSHA, and CMS guidelines.
  • Maintain clinic accreditation and licensing requirements.
  • Assist with clinic strategic goals and organizational growth objectives.
  • Support staff scheduling and adequate operational coverage.
  • Address staff concerns and escalate issues to the Practice Manager.
  • Resolve escalated patient concerns and manage service recovery initiatives.
  • Monitor and improve the patient experience.
  • Monitor clinical outcomes and lead quality improvement initiatives.
  • Implement, monitor, and improve operational policies and procedures.
  • Ensure HR policy compliance and participate in recruitment and retention strategies.
  • Manage clinic budgets, expenses, and financial performance.
  • Analyze financial reports, profitability, sustainability, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Collaborate with finance on billing, collections, and revenue cycle processes.
  • Communicate corporate initiatives and objectives to clinic teams.
  • Provide Practice Manager with details for monitoring and reporting clinic launch KPIs and suggest enhanced metrics.
  • Educate and coach staff on patient health metrics, turnaround times, performance, and improvement opportunities.
  • Occasional travel may be required.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Three years of experience as a primary care clinic manager.
  • Associate's degree in healthcare administration or equivalent working experience.
  • Track record of achieving and maintaining exceptional Net Promoter Scores.
  • Experience working with Epic or similar EMR.
  • Experience with and knowledge of Medicare Advantage plans.
  • Entrepreneurial outlook that thrives in an environment of uncertainty and willingness to progress in your career as the practice expands.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, analytical, prioritization and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Ability to work as a member of a team and implement constructive feedback.
  • Ability to exercise judgment in handling sensitive and confidential information discreetly and professionally.
  • CMA, RN or LPN with clinic management experience. (Preferred)
  • Skilled in operating a computer in a Windows environment utilizing Outlook, Word, and Excel. (Preferred)
  • Experience with increasing practice utilization. (Preferred)
  • Ability to lift or carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to use a keyboard and computer for extended periods and communicate clearly in person and by telephone.
  • Must provide proof of or complete a written attestation of a religious or medical exemption for influenza and Hepatitis B vaccines.
