About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Maximize sales through promotion of company products and regular, continuous service to assigned sales outlets
  • Identify and communicate market opportunities to the direct manager to increase sales
  • Visit all assigned points of sale as part of a route
  • Generate sales in assigned stores
  • Maintain product information needed to execute sales
  • Market products and execute displays
  • Create and maintain customer relationships
  • Scan products marketed at each point of sale
  • Conduct inventory surveys at each point of sale to identify products to order and maintain inventory according to store rotation
  • Negotiate additional exhibits, tasting events, and promotional activities with points of sale
  • Report required information truthfully and promptly in company systems

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Fully bilingual: English (fluent) and Spanish (intermediate or higher)
  • Associate Degree, technical certificate, or post-secondary coursework
  • 1+ years of previous merchandising, sales, or customer service experience
  • Experience with a CPG company or the retail industry (Preferred)
  • Proficient in MS Office and apps on cellular/wireless devices
  • Excellent customer service and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team with limited supervision
  • Availability to travel while visiting stores in different cities
  • Must be able to walk and move around 2/3 of the time
  • Ability to use fingers to operate tools and devices
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to talk, listen, and speak clearly on the phone and in person
