Sales Representative

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maximize sales through product promotion and regular service to assigned sales outlets
- Identify and communicate market opportunities to the direct manager
- Visit assigned points of sale on a daily local route throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth territory
- Generate sales in assigned stores
- Know and use product information to execute sales
- Market products and execute displays
- Create and maintain customer relationships
- Scan marketed products at each point of sale
- Conduct inventory surveys to determine ordering needs and maintain stock based on store rotation
- Merchandise, stock, clean, and organize products across multiple retail locations
- Build relationships with point-of-sale personnel
- Negotiate additional exhibits, tasting events, and promotional activities
- Report required information truthfully and promptly in company systems
Requirements
What you’ll need- Basic to intermediate English understanding
- Associate Degree, technical certificate, or post-secondary coursework
- Previous sales, merchandising, or customer service experience preferred but not required
- Experience with a CPG company or the retail industry preferred
- Basic technology skills, including mobile apps and cellular/wireless devices
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team with limited supervision
- Comfortable working a daily local route throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth territory
- Able to walk and move around 2/3 of the time
- Able to use fingers to operate tools and devices
- Able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
- Able to talk, listen, and communicate clearly by phone and in person
