About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the customer-facing voice for KNAPP Inc. and manage communication between customers, the site team, and the Resident Business Manager
  • Attend daily production meetings and maintain strong customer engagement
  • Develop and manage site budgets, cost projections, and associated commercial activities
  • Lead the development, implementation, and daily supervision of maintenance programs, processes, personnel, and documentation
  • Supervise, interview, hire, train, assign, and evaluate site team members
  • Provide leadership and guidance to Resident Site personnel
  • Support customer operation and maintenance of automated storage and retrieval systems and storage and picking systems
  • Oversee system improvements, installations, technical and regulatory training, reactive repairs, and service-level agreement delivery
  • Mentor, coach, teach, and develop on-site staff
  • Maintain customer relationships and ensure excellent customer satisfaction
  • Promote a safety culture; oversee Health & Safety, risk assessments, the MHE risk register, and compliance with safety policies and procedures
  • Provide monthly commercial and technical reports
  • Manage information systems support and maintenance through direct reports
  • Plan and implement system security policy
  • Manage supply chain activities, suppliers, sub-suppliers, maintenance hardware, and spares inventory
  • Produce and maintain MHE Planned Preventative Maintenance work schedules
  • Monitor MHE progress, attendance, quality, health, safety, and cost plans
  • Approve revised MHE documents, drawings, and correspondence
  • Serve as custodian of site escalation and grievance procedures
  • Respond to and address emergency calls
  • Perform other duties commensurate with the role

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Passport or ability to obtain passport
  • Willingness to work on weekends and/or overtime as required
  • Professional office etiquette is required at all times
  • Occasional travel required
  • Physical requirements may include sitting, squatting, walking, reaching out to arm’s length, reaching overhead, lifting between 50–100 pounds, and reading
  • Strict adherence to KNAPP’s drug-free workplace policy
  • Candidates will be subject to drug-screening and expected to remain drug-free during employment
