About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the Account Executive organization's performance, growth, and sales number
  • Deliver the company plan for leads and loan applications across Account Executives, Senior Account Executives, and Wholesale Account Executives
  • Set and maintain team production standards
  • Hire, develop, coach, and hold the Account Executive team accountable
  • Own AE onboarding and ramp as a measurable program
  • Own organizational design, territory and coverage model, and AE headcount planning with Finance
  • Maintain distinct playbooks for retail lending partners and the broader lender and agent set
  • Design and evaluate AE compensation plans with the People team and Finance
  • Deliver rolling forecasts to leadership and run pipeline and forecast cadence
  • Serve as subject matter expert on the Account Executive channel
  • Turn partner and borrower feedback into product, marketing, and lending operations changes
  • Drive adoption of changes in the field

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 8 years of sales or business development experience in mortgage, real estate, or proptech, including at least 4 years leading sales teams
  • Track record of hiring, coaching, and developing sellers into consistent performers
  • Demonstrated ownership of a sales number, with a track record of growing lead and application volume while forecasting accurately against plan
  • Deep understanding of how to sell into retail lending
  • Ability to set positioning strategy for a Buy Before You Sell product and handle cost, rate, and timing objections
  • Command of the competitive landscape
  • Experience designing or materially influencing sales compensation plans
  • Strong analytical judgment; comfortable building models, reading data, and acting on it
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Belief in fostering inclusive, equitable practices
  • Proven success in a fully remote, distributed team environment
  • Recent lending experience required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience
  • Able to travel, including overnight travel at least 4 times per year
  • Able to lift, carry, and push up to 20 lbs.
  • Able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
