About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Configure and set up computer systems, including PCs, printers, PC/server applications, phones, and cell phones
Image laptops and desktops
Collaborate with HR to ensure smooth onboarding for new hires
Install and update operating systems, software applications, and security patches
Diagnose and resolve wired and wireless network connectivity issues
Investigate hardware and software malfunctions and implement solutions
Provide technical support to employees with network-related problems
Act as liaison between the IT Germany team and US team for troubleshooting, updates, and system changes
Work with outside vendors and German IT staff on handoff protocols and escalated action topics
Perform routine maintenance on printers, phones, and network equipment
Monitor equipment performance and replace or upgrade components as needed
Maintain inventory of network hardware and software licenses
Run monthly reports for the software and finance teams
Run exception reports to find SAP errors and keep data systems clean
Support process improvement implementation, system testing, failure review, and approval/signatory guidelines
Digitize documents and support systems implementation projects, including Google filing system, Salesforce, and SAP data review
Promote new ideas and stay current with technology and industry trends
Follow company policies, safety procedures, and standard operating procedures
Collaborate with Koenig & Bauer IT divisions
Perform other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need

Two (2) year degree in computer science, IT, or related degree or minimum of 5 year related work experience
Minimum three (3) years of on-the-job experience in network administration and troubleshooting
Knowledge of network security principles and best practices
Expert with Microsoft office suites (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Microsoft Edge)
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
Frequent sitting, standing, and repetition with hands required
