About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and build customized MES solutions tailored to customer needs across the Americas
Standardize customer MES data requirements, design communication architectures, and document software integration specifications
Gather feedback and technical issues from field service engineers and customers, communicating with HQ to guide MES product development and improvements
Provide remote technical support as a helpdesk agent for MES development and installation
Resolve communication errors and system issues
Deliver technical support through customer site visits, including MES installation, system setup, evaluations, and user/engineer training
Collaborate with sales teams on MES technical consulting
Lead customer meetings, review project quotations, draft proposals, and demonstrate solutions at trade shows
Maintain expert-level knowledge of Koh Young systems and MES tools
Train internal engineers on the latest MES protocols

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, Information Systems or related
3+ years of strong programming skills in C#, C/C++, Java, SQL, Python, JavaScript
2+ years of experience with Web Services, TCP/IP Communication, parsers, etc.
2+ years of advanced knowledge of Windows and Linux-based OS
1+ year of experience in IPC-CFX, IPC-HERMES, SECS/GEM, iTAC, or any other standard preferred
1+ year of SPI and AOI programming, operation, and maintenance preferred
Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
Bilingual Spanish or Korean preferred
Strong interpersonal and project management skills
Excellent problem-solving and crisis-management skills
