About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define the thesis for the next generation of Komodo Health’s product suite
Build first versions of at least two new products using AI tools and platform primitives
Run a pod of four or fewer from prototype to general availability without dedicated project management
Ensure products achieve measurable revenue, adoption, or retention impact in customer environments
Retire or fold at least one legacy solution into its successor without customer churn
Study customer workflows and determine what products should exist
Work inside customer environments and scope solutions while contracts are negotiated
Propose and defend the shape of the growing product portfolio
Partner with sales and marketing on product packaging, market analysis, positioning, enablement, and sales
Establish architecture and build patterns for surrounding product pods
Lead as a hands-on individual contributor through product theses and builds rather than direct reports

Requirements

What you’ll need

Demonstrated ability to build the first version of a product; interview evaluation includes showing something built
Low-level product reasoning about AI context and grounding, evals and quality gates, agent behavior, and cost
Comfortable working inside customer environments and contracting cycles
10+ years in product
At least one product conceived and shipped that earns real revenue today
Excellent written communication
Healthcare or regulated data experience, or ability to become fluent quickly in a comparably complex data domain (nice to have)
Experience with platform transitions (nice to have)
Experience retiring a product without losing customers (nice to have)
Experience interacting with, managing, or building with AI agentic workflows (nice to have)
