About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own and document Komodo Health’s design language, including principles, type, color, motion, voice, and core patterns
Encode design taste into versioned, measured, and maintained AI skills, components, and templates
Design AI interfaces, dense analytic workflows, and new products
Prototype with AI tools and use Figma when appropriate
Fix recurring design problems at the skill or tool source
Enable PMs, engineers, and forward deployed teams to build high-quality prototypes and products
Design and ship interaction patterns for agentic work, including plans, progress, sources, confidence, and correction
Design and prototype flagship experiences from concept to general availability
Collaborate with PMs, engineers, and forward deployed teams through reviews, Slack, and customer-facing prototypes

Requirements

What you’ll need

Exceptional visual, interaction, and content design craft
Portfolio required
Ability to build working prototypes and real UI with AI tools
Ability to fix components in code
Daily design use of Claude or similar AI tools
Understanding of how AI reads skills and why output drifts
Experience building skills or systems adopted by people outside the team
Experience designing AI products, including reasoning, sources, uncertainty, and human correction
8+ years in product design
Experience leading design for a complex B2B, data, or analytics product from first prototype to scale
Excellent written communication
Healthcare or regulated data experience, data visualization, front-end engineering background, and design-system transition experience prioritized as nice to have
