About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide safe, consistent and person-centred care in the individual's own home
- Support a gentleman with a spinal injury and transverse myelitis
- Provide catheter care, personal care, moving and handling, medication and clinical interventions
- Manage tracheostomies, ventilation and specialist equipment
- Follow detailed clinical care plans
- Monitor clinical observations and recognise deterioration
- Maintain accurate records and escalate concerns immediately
- Support the individual to enjoy meaningful activities safely and confidently
- Work within a dedicated, nurse-led team under clinical oversight
Requirements
What you’ll need- A full UK driving licence
- Experience in care or confidence undertaking clinical training
- Excellent attention to detail and situational awareness
- The ability to follow detailed clinical protocols consistently
- Basic IT skills for communication and record-keeping
- A genuine commitment to safe, person-centred care
- Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK
- Sponsorship is not available
