About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide safe and consistent care to an adult with a spinal cord injury in their own home
  • Work 48-hour shifts with paid sleep nights on a 2-days-on, 4-days-off rolling rota
  • Provide personal care, medication and clinical interventions
  • Monitor clinical observations and recognise deterioration
  • Follow detailed clinical care plans and perform specialist interventions
  • Maintain accurate records and escalate concerns immediately
  • Support day-to-day routines, activities, sports, movies and social activities
  • Work within a dedicated, nurse-led team with clinical oversight

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Experience in care or confidence undertaking clinical training
  • Excellent attention to detail and situational awareness
  • Ability to follow detailed clinical protocols consistently
  • Basic IT skills for communication and record-keeping
  • Genuine commitment to safe, person-centred care
  • Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK
  • Sponsorship is not available
