About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide specialist, nurse-led complex care for a young adult in their own home
  • Work weekend hours and provide safe, consistent care
  • Provide personal care, medication and clinical interventions
  • Manage tracheostomies, ventilation and specialist equipment
  • Support O2 monitoring, PEG, moving and handling, and personal care
  • Monitor clinical observations and recognise deterioration
  • Maintain accurate records and escalate concerns immediately
  • Follow detailed clinical care plans and specialist protocols
  • Help the individual safely participate in activities and outings

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Experience in care or confidence undertaking clinical training
  • Excellent attention to detail and situational awareness
  • The ability to follow detailed clinical protocols consistently
  • Basic IT skills for communication and record-keeping
  • A genuine commitment to safe, person-centred care
  • Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK
  • Sponsorship is not available
