About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide person-centred care and support to a paediatric client in the client’s home
  • Support a client with subglottic stenosis, tracheomalacia, chronic lung disease, and a tracheostomy tube
  • Administer medication
  • Work waking night shifts and evening shifts for 15–27 hours per week

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Existing work authorisation for the UK
  • Level 2 or 3 NVQ/QCF in health care is desirable
  • Ability to provide care and support for a client with complex needs
  • Ability to work part-time waking night shifts and evening shifts
  • Knowledge or ability to support needs including subglottic stenosis, tracheomalacia, chronic lung disease, tracheostomy tube care, and medication administration
