About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide safe and consistent care for an adult with complex clinical needs in their own home
  • Provide personal care, medication administration and clinical interventions
  • Manage tracheostomies, ventilation and specialist equipment
  • Monitor clinical observations and recognise deterioration
  • Maintain accurate records and escalate concerns immediately
  • Follow detailed clinical care plans and specialist protocols
  • Work within a dedicated, nurse-led team and collaborate with colleagues and family
  • Deliver hands-on, person-centred care during waking-night shifts from 19:00 to 07:00

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Experience in care or confidence undertaking clinical training
  • Excellent attention to detail and situational awareness
  • Ability to follow detailed clinical protocols consistently
  • Basic IT skills for communication and record-keeping
  • Genuine commitment to safe, person-centred care
  • Good standard of literacy skills and ability to understand written information
  • Clear spoken English
  • Willingness to learn alternative communication methods
  • Ability to work as part of a team and become part of a busy household
  • Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK
  • Sponsorship is not available
