About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage local installation operations
- Lead multiple teams on various construction sites with multiple subcontractors
- Guide the team on construction sites using knowledge of code requirements and building systems
- Manage resources and work with general contractors
- Oversee Installation Supervisors/Superintendents and their teams
- Ensure site readiness for projects under the role's scope
- Manage projects as a core responsibility outside of labor
- Oversee Project Managers reporting to the role
- Implement and monitor safety guidelines
- Manage schedules and track overall team performance
- Provide learning opportunities for the team
- Collaborate with all levels of the organization to achieve business goals
- Leverage new technologies
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of relevant construction expertise
- Supervisory experience, ideally leading a union represented workforce
- Bachelor's or associate's degree in a related field, or 8+ years of experience in lieu of degree
- Understanding of code requirements and building systems knowledge
- Familiarity working with general contractors
- Experience effectively managing resources
- Experience managing multiple teams on construction sites with multiple subcontractors
- Experience implementing and monitoring safety guidelines
- Ability to provide learning opportunities for the team
- Ability to effectively manage schedules and track team performance
- Ability to collaborate with all levels of the organization
- Appetite for learning and leveraging new technologies
