About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the Business Controlling function across the Nordic region
- Lead a team of 9 Regional and Business Line Controllers
- Act as a trusted business partner to leaders across the Nordic organization
- Drive business performance and support strategic decision-making
- Provide financial insights and analysis on business drivers, risks, and opportunities
- Drive forecasting, budgeting, and performance review processes across the region
- Support strategic planning and scenario analysis
- Drive performance management and accountability for financial targets, business outcomes, and value creation
- Develop the Nordic Business Controlling team in a matrix environment
- Foster collaboration, capability development, and best-practice sharing across countries and business lines
- Ensure consistent controlling practices, reporting standards, and performance management processes
- Ensure effective financial controls and adherence to KONE policies and governance requirements
- Act as a key finance stakeholder on compliance and financial governance
- Promote transparency, accountability, and financial discipline
Requirements
What you’ll need- Extensive experience in business controlling, FP&A, finance business partnering, or related finance leadership roles, ideally in an international corporate environment
- Proven ability to partner with, influence, and challenge senior business stakeholders
- Experience leading teams directly and/or through a matrix organization
- Strong analytical and financial acumen combined with a business-oriented mindset
- Ability to balance business partnership with governance and control requirements
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluency in English
- A Nordic language is considered an advantage
- Willingness to travel within the Nordics
