Key responsibilities & impact

Own positioning and messaging for agent identity and authentication
Define Kong's technical narrative for authenticating, authorizing, and governing agents and other non-human actors across AI and API traffic
Develop thought leadership through blogs, talks, analyst conversations, and industry engagement
Lead technical field enablement for Solution Engineers, Customer Success Managers, and other technical field roles
Produce demos, reference architectures, technical whitepapers, and documentation-adjacent content
Serve as subject-matter expert in strategic sales conversations involving agent identity and security
Deliver technical positioning, proof points, and demo assets for AI launches and campaigns
Inform product roadmap framing and capability naming using market feedback, competitive dynamics, and buyer research

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience in product marketing, product management, or solutions engineering, ideally at an Identity and Access Management (IAM) and/or AI Security company
Hands-on interest in AI infrastructure, including LLM deployment, agentic frameworks, the Model Context Protocol, and AI governance
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into crisp narratives for technical practitioners and C-suite buyers
Experience working across Product, Marketing, Sales, and Partner teams
Comfortable delivering keynote presentations, analyst briefings, customer roundtables, and demo-heavy sessions
Experience in open-source software, SaaS platforms, and enterprise go-to-market motions is strongly preferred
Familiarity with API gateways, AI observability, vector databases, iPaaS, and agentic orchestration frameworks is a strong plus
