About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, and deploy robotic process automation solutions using UiPath
- Analyze business processes to identify automation opportunities and create Technical Design Documents
- Build reusable automation components and maintain UiPath robot configurations
- Gather requirements from business stakeholders and optimize workflows
- Test, debug, maintain, monitor, and support RPA solutions and production deployments
- Develop and deploy generative AI applications using AWS Bedrock, Ask Sage, or similar services
- Design and implement AI-powered solutions using large language models
- Build and optimize prompts, fine-tune models, and implement retrieval-augmented generation
- Implement secure APIs, pipelines, and microservices for AI-driven capabilities
- Integrate AI capabilities with business applications and RPA workflows
- Apply Responsible AI principles and ensure compliance with DoD AI Ethical Principles, the DoD Responsible AI Toolkit, and RMF security controls
- Support data readiness through cleansing, cataloging, labeling, and governance of AI training datasets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on RPA and AI integration
- Participate in architecture decisions and technology selection
- Document technical specifications, deployment guides, and best practices
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance
- Stay current with emerging RPA, AI, and cloud computing technologies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Ability to obtain an Active Secret Security Clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 5+ years in software development with demonstrated AI/GenAI project experience
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with UiPath (Studio, Orchestrator, Robot)
- 1+ years of experience with AWS services, specifically AWS Bedrock, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and other core AWS services
- Demonstrated ability to apply prompt engineering and fine-tuning techniques for LLMs
- Strong programming skills in Python and C#/.NET
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and web services integration
- Knowledge of database technologies (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.)
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)
- Experience with cloud-native architectures and containerization (Docker)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Preferred: UiPath certification, AWS AI/ML services, AWS certifications, machine learning frameworks, low-code/no-code platforms, DevOps and infrastructure-as-code, Agile/Scrum, business process analysis and optimization
