About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build high-quality React Native experiences for Kraken's financial products
Work across engineering, product, and design to solve client problems
Own features end-to-end from problem understanding and solution shaping through implementation, launch, measurement, and iteration
Improve product discovery, trading experiences, and customer journeys
Work with APIs and real-time data to create responsive, data-rich mobile experiences
Make decisions about state management, rendering, performance, and architecture
Partner with Product and Design early in product development
Contribute to technical discussions, code reviews, collaboration, and product-engineering standards across Consumer Mobile
Use data and client feedback to drive product improvements

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong React Native experience building and shipping meaningful production applications
Ability to make architectural and implementation decisions across a modern mobile codebase
Product-building mindset and strong product judgment
Evidence of product impact using metrics, experimentation, and client behaviour
End-to-end feature ownership from discovery through iteration
Experience with APIs and dynamic or real-time data
Effective written and verbal English communication across a globally distributed team
Proficiency with AI tools such as Cursor, Copilot, or Claude
Experience turning loosely defined product problems into features or products with measurable client impact
Nice to have: fintech, trading, crypto, payments, or financial technology experience
Nice to have: trading, investing, or financial product knowledge
Nice to have: real-time or streaming data experience
Nice to have: mobile and web experience
