About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define and evolve UX strategy for IMDEX software products
Lead and facilitate user research and usability testing
Develop and maintain personas, journey maps, mental models and UX maturity frameworks
Act as UX lead in product planning and roadmap decisions
Present research findings, UX strategy and recommendations to product, engineering and senior stakeholders
Translate UX strategy and research findings into product requirements and priorities with Product Managers and Business Analysts
Guide UI Designers on translating UX strategy and research into interface design
Champion alignment with the IMDEX Design System and Shared UI
Collaborate with CX Designers and stakeholders on end-to-end customer journeys and experiences
Drive the voice of the customer through product strategy and decision-making
Mentor UX/UI Designers and researchers and help mature the UX practice
Contribute to UX team processes
Comply with health, safety, environmental, risk and compliance policies; report hazards and incidents; participate in safety meetings

Requirements

What you’ll need

6+ years' experience in UX, Product Design or a related discipline, with a strong track record of shaping UX strategy at a product level within an agile enterprise, SaaS or B2B software environment
Demonstrated experience developing foundational UX assets: personas, journeys and mental models
Experience conducting and leading user research and usability testing
Strong understanding of interaction design and information architecture principles
Ability to guide and critique UI design without being the primary hands-on UI producer
Experience working closely with UI Designers, Product Managers, Business Analysts and Engineering teams
Excellent communication, storytelling and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to influence product and business decisions at all levels of the organization
Ability to plan, prioritize and organize effectively across multiple products and initiatives
Collaborative nature with strong communication skills, sincerity and a sense of humor
Confidence and expertise in UX strategy and product design
