About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the end-to-end design process, including user research, persona development, journey mapping, interaction design, UI design, prototyping, UX writing, and usability testing
- Leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate ideation, design iteration, prototype generation, and specification creation
- Author clear, structured product and design specifications for spec-driven development
- Evolve design workflows using AI tools and automation to improve efficiency, consistency, and quality
- Establish and maintain a design system across products
- Define and promote the design vision across the product suite
- Contribute user insights to product strategy, roadmap prioritization, and cross-functional decisions
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, business stakeholders, and clients
- Mentor future design hires as the design function scales
- Report to Scott Matza
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of product design experience
- Portfolio demonstrating strong user-centered thinking and end-to-end design execution
- Experience designing B2B enterprise SaaS applications
- Proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools, such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience using AI-assisted design or development tools, such as Figma Make, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar
- Demonstrated experience with spec-driven development (SDD) practices
- Experience writing or collaborating on structured specifications aligning design, product, and engineering
- Experience translating user research and complex product requirements into clear, implementation-ready design artifacts
- Curiosity and adaptability when evaluating and adopting emerging tools and workflows
- Familiarity with accessibility best practices and designing for inclusion
