About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, build, and maintain AI services for a banking client's Data and AI platform Atlas
- Ensure AI services are scalable, governable, secure, and provide access to advanced technologies and AI models
- Drive AI enablement and innovation
- Design and develop scalable AI infrastructure aligned with bank-wide monitoring, networking, security, privacy, auditability, and governability standards
- Prototype and translate emerging AI infrastructure components and features into enterprise standards
- Collaborate with regulatory, enterprise architecture, security, risk, data governance, and platform teams
- Facilitate AI developer teams
- Support service-consuming teams with infrastructure, AI, and platform expertise
- Build templates and reference implementations for AI infrastructure consumption
- Design and implement scalable cloud-native solutions
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and platform automation
- Develop integrations between AI services, AKS services, and supporting platforms
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong platform engineering skills on Azure, including networking and IAM (Entra Id)
- Knowledge of Azure AI services and Azure API Management
- Experience with reliability engineering for AI platforms, including observability, scalability, and availability
- Solid background in Python for troubleshooting and prototyping AI technologies
- Experience with DevOps best practices, including version control, CI/CD, and IaC
- Knowledge of Generative AI
- Knowledge of LLMOps, including security/governance, cost/token tracking, and rate limiting
- Proven understanding of AI-related concepts, including agents, RAG, evaluation, and prompt engineering
- Experience with observability and monitoring using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
- Security and governance awareness
