About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage and optimize IT infrastructure
- Analyze problems and technical issues
- Document and diagram work for hand-off
- Provide timely solutions
- Test, modify, automate, and integrate systems
- Contribute to current infrastructure projects
- Plan IT infrastructure strategically for the long term
- Execute IT infrastructure operations
- Offer solutions and identify technical and timeline risks early
- Manage client expectations and internal challenges
- Work throughout the lifespan of project-based engagements
- Collaborate closely with Architects, Technicians, and Project Managers
- Support customer success through client communication and negotiations
- Translate and interpret Japanese
- Work with cloud technologies, databases, and programming languages as applicable
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an IT or technical setting
- Fluent in Japanese (JLPT N3 or above) and English, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in IT systems, including networks, hardware, software, and troubleshooting
- Experience handling client communication and negotiations
- Excellent Japanese translation and interpretation skills
- Proven hands-on experience in SCRUM or Project Management
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience with IT service management tools such as ServiceNow and Jira
- Certifications in Japanese language proficiency JLPT N2 or above preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical individuals
- Experience working with Japanese clients or in a multicultural team preferred
- Knowledge of Mainframe domain
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
