About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Configure, install, and maintain database management systems
- Manage user access and implement security policies and procedures
- Conduct capacity planning and growth projections based on usage
- Coordinate database project plans with various teams
- Propose and implement system performance and reliability enhancements
- Develop backup and recovery plans
- Support end users and application developers with complex database-system problems
- Manage and administer the backbone of the technological infrastructure
- Define, structure, and document systems for long-term business operations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Microsoft Windows Server 2016 implementation and management
- VMware ESXi experience
- Public/private cloud management, especially migration from on-prem to cloud
- Automation experience, especially IaaS (preferred)
- Vulnerability management (preferred)
- On-prem AD FS with Microsoft Active Directory and/or Azure AD (preferred)
