About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the principal delivery executive for high-stakes, multi-year technology transformations
- Orchestrate programs from roadmap definition through full operational realization
- Provide strategic leadership across executive governance, systems integration, and commercial account stewardship
- Partner with client C-suite executives and steering committees
- Direct multidisciplinary delivery teams and partner ecosystems
- Navigate regulatory requirements and manage multimillion-dollar portfolio financials
- Build trusted relationships that improve client satisfaction and drive sustainable business growth
- Define program vision and success criteria aligned with corporate and customer strategy
- Provide board-level updates and influence executive decision-making
- Lead and collaborate across all program actors, including those not explicitly contracted
- Drive multi-million-dollar portfolios across geographies while ensuring regulatory and contractual compliance
- Establish risk governance frameworks and oversee mitigation strategies
- Own program P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization
- Engage C-suite executives, board members, global regulators, and strategic partners
- Champion digital transformation, sustainability initiatives, and cultural change
- Present program performance, risks, and strategic recommendations in CxO-level meetings
Requirements
What you’ll need- 15 or more years of progressive leadership experience directing complex technology projects and programs within a global IT consulting firm, technology professional services provider, or enterprise cloud vendor
- Proven track record managing client program portfolios exceeding $100 million in total contract value or $50 million in annual revenue, with direct ownership of margins, revenue realization, and delivery performance
- Experience leading distributed, cross-functional delivery organizations of 50 to 200 or more professionals across onshore, nearshore, and offshore delivery centers
- Experience advising C-suite executives, board members, and steering committees
- Experience stepping into distressed or troubled customer programs to realign scope, schedules, and commercials while rebuilding executive trust
- Domain experience leading complex transformations within heavily regulated industries such as Financial Services, Healthcare, or Public Sector
- Ability to orchestrate multi-vendor ecosystems, software partners, and client internal teams across interdependent delivery milestones
- Experience establishing program governance frameworks, master delivery schedules, and dependency management systems
- Expertise in commercial contracting, scope management, contract change control, and price negotiation
- Proficiency using enterprise business intelligence tools, dashboards, and reporting systems to track program health and engineering performance
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or Master's Certificate in Project Management
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline
- Preferred: experience with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or DevSecOps
- Preferred: experience with Fixed-Price Milestone, Time and Materials, Managed Capacity, and Outcome-Based contract models
- Preferred: familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, Jira Align, Clarity, or Microsoft Project
- Preferred: working knowledge of hybrid multi-cloud migrations, data platforms, cybersecurity frameworks, and enterprise automation technologies
- Preferred: experience leading contract renegotiations and commercial expansion
- Preferred: PgMP certification
- Preferred: PRINCE2 Practitioner certification
- Preferred: CSM or SAFe Program Consultant certification
- Preferred: advanced executive education in organizational transformation, strategic leadership, or business management
