About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with customers to understand business challenges and translate them into fit-for-purpose technical solutions
- Build and iterate custom AI solutions tailored to customer needs using agentic AI frameworks
- Own delivery end to end, from scoping to production
- Engineer and deploy production-ready solutions with customer teams
- Troubleshoot and enhance system performance, scalability, and reliability
- Capture deployment learnings and document best practices
- Share insights to inform enhancements to Kyndryl’s core platforms and frameworks
- Engage in ongoing professional development
- Contribute feedback and code to the evolution of Kyndryl’s AI platforms
- Collaborate with product teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Demonstrable expertise in Python or another modern language such as C#, Node.js, or TypeScript
- Experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch is a plus
- Solid grasp of the software delivery lifecycle
- Experience with version control, including Git and GitHub
- Experience with data engineering tools such as Pandas and Spark
- Experience with cloud AI platforms, including AWS, Azure, or Google AI
- Experience with distributed computing architectures
- Familiarity with open-source AI tools and libraries, including Hugging Face, preferred
- Deep technical expertise in one or two domains, with broad understanding across AI/ML, cloud, and consulting, preferred
- Experience designing, building, or integrating multi-agent systems and orchestration frameworks, preferred
- Practical knowledge of deploying RAG architectures and integrating structured and unstructured knowledge sources, preferred
- Knowledge of system-level optimisation and security best practices for scalable AI systems, preferred
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and communicate technical value to diverse stakeholders, preferred
- Willingness to travel and work on customer premises as required
- Degree-level qualification in Computer Science, Informatics, Data Science, Engineering, or a closely related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
- Based in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex or ready to relocate immediately
- Willingness to work a hybrid schedule of 3 days onsite per week at Frisco, Texas
